Welcome to the Westfield First School website

Westfield is a happy and successful school with a welcoming atmosphere. We have caring and dedicated staff who want our children to succeed. The learning environment is spacious and attractive and we have well-designed grounds, a large playing field and a nature reserve.

We have been declared OUTSTANDING by Ofsted - the proportion of state schools in England rated 'outstanding' is only 9%.

Our Governing Body is very supportive and the Westfield First School Association (W1SPA) is very active in raising funds for the school.

Westfield First School forms part of the "Three-tier" system of education in Berkhamsted. Due to an increase in pupil numbers in the town a public consultation is currently running to seek views on alternative options to meet the need for additional school places within Berkhamsted.
